For MORE THAN four decades, Carlos Vasconcellos built a highly successful international career in the world of business. He IS a strategist, a leader, an entrepreneur and a visionary — the kind of man whose signature carries as much weight as his word. But away from the corporate spotlight, in silence and colour, another story was quietly taking shape.
Self-taught, he began painting around 30 years ago — not out of artistic ambition, but from a vital inner need, driven by a deep pleasure in transforming emotion into form and colour. His canvases don’t seek technical coherence, they seek creative truth. In them, colour becomes language, instinct, memory, and magic. And if there is logic, it is the logic of the heart — with all its harmonies, turbulence, phases and passions.
His work does not need explanation. It is felt. It is breathed.
